KeepKey is delighted to announce a new firmware update with an extensive number of new offerings to the production client (v5.7.2). After updating the firmware, all KeepKey users will find support for four new digital assets, custom bitcoin fees and Dash InstantSend. The firmware will also include several bug fixes.
- New digital assets: KeepKey now natively supports sending, receiving and hodling Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Tether (USDT), Binance Coin (BNB) and Polymath (POLY).
- Custom fees: Back by popular demand, custom fee selection for bitcoin is now available. Users can select a fast, medium or slow transaction speed which corresponds to the necessary fee. Faster transaction times will have higher transaction fees, slower transaction time may cause your transaction to stall, so please choose wisely!
- Dash InstantSend: The name says it all. With Dash InstantSend, users have the ability to send Dash almost instantaneously, similar to how credit cards work. When sending Dash, users have the option to choose ‘Fast’ or ‘InstantSend’ for the speed of each transaction.
- Bug fixes: Various improvements for existing functionality are included as well.
Our development team has been working relentlessly on this release to bring you native support for 40 digital assets with an abundance of features, such as custom bitcoin fees. Even more impressive news is coming from the team before the end of the year. Stay posted, because the best is yet to come!
As always, if you have any questions please contact our support team.
Happy hodling (or transacting),
The KeepKey Team
